Aunt Martha's Workbasket Magazine - November, 1936

The most recent Workbasket offering from the Antique Pattern LibraryIf my calculations are correct, this one is from November, 1936.  Offered are projects in crochet, embroidery, tatting, and, well...cornhusks.  A pdf is available for free download.

Is she wearing dark underwear with a light-coloured blouse? Maybe that's just to show off the design - I hope.

Some of the projects are cringe-worthy; in one of them there is a hot-mitt set with "mammy," "Sambo" and a watermelon slice.

Who was it said "the past is a foreign country"?
